So, what has been the inspiration for Entyce Creative to establish this competition?
Libby Entwisle, Managing Director explains… “We are very grateful to be doing what we love each day and are keen to make sure we can give something back when we can. We have therefore embarked on a new venture which helps design students of the North West gain exposure for their work. We believe this is a great opportunity to excite young people and to stress how important great design is to our society.”
The overall winner will be offered a work experience placement within the Entyce Creative studio. This will provide a fantastic start to their career as a budding graphic designer and will guarantee they have a CV to be proud of.
Introduction of the Entyce Design Competition to colleges and universities across the North West has already seen enormous interest and up take from the course leaders. Throughout January the designers at Entyce will be busy visiting students to present the brief in greater detail and to answer any questions.
Jane Entwistle, Creative Director at Entyce describes why Entyce is taking the time to help students: “Having been there myself, looking for work, I know just how competitive the world of design really is. We are so excited to be able to help students obtain a starting point to their career and to provide them with a chance to work on real life projects to enhance their portfolio.”
The services provided by Entyce Creative range from design for print and website design to advertising and PR, so the lucky winner will have a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in all areas and design and marketing.
