Unlike numerous design graduates, I can’t understand how you can somehow decide what area of design to pursue without having a varied portfolio of prior work experience.
Enter Entyce!
With its involvement with both local and global clients, working at an agency with such a strong reputation as Entyce has always personally appealed to me by offering a strong variation in project briefs and a wide portfolio of clients.
After submitting a physical portfolio and meeting the Chester-based team I was excited to learn that I was offered a work experience position at the digital marketing agency.
By working for a digital design agency it allows me the opportunity to apply my design skills to more graphical, client-based projects than typically undergone during my product design education. Overall this opportunity will provide me with a broader set of design-centred skills, as well as help inform me which design area to pursue.
The small, but tight knit agency, undertakes a large variety of work and keeps each day fresh while still feeling like part of the team. I have already been involved with producing promotional graphics for Simian Skill, a scaffolder training organisation, uploading content to numerous clients’ websites as well as designing and developing Entyce’s own Christmas card.
Who knows what I’ll be working on next?
