Following in the footsteps of Chester’s first ever B Social event last November, Entyce returned to Artezzan to host a second ‘networking event with purpose’ on Thursday 8th February.
The not-for-profit event brought together B Corporations from various industries around Cheshire and the North West, as well as businesses who wished to know more about the B Corp process. Attendees included HM3 Legal, Moneypenny and AXIS.
Yet again, B Social Chester demonstrated the growing interest in Cheshire businesses in becoming B Corp by yet again completely selling out of tickets well in advance of the event.
This time, in addition to networking, delegates had a chance to hear from speakers from fellow B Corps; Claire Binns, Senior Impact Manager at Sykes Holiday Cottages and Katherine Jones, Director of ThinK Wine Group, as well as Entyce and Endorphin’s very own, Jane Entwistle. The attendees also received a welcome drink, a 20% discount voucher for local business Wild Juice Co. and 15% off to dine after the event at Artezzan.
Jane Entwistle, Co-Director and Co-Founder at B Corp accredited agencies, Entyce and Endorphin, said:
“After the success of our first B Social back in November, we couldn’t wait to host another one! We’re so pleased to bring together so many local B Corps, as well as watch the interest grow amongst the ‘B Curious’. We hope that by hosting these events, we’ve inspired many other business owners to join the movement and we’ll definitely look to continue hosting these events into 2024 and beyond.”
B Corporations are considered leaders in the global movement for an inclusive, equitable and regenerative economy. Those certified receive their verification through a rigorous assessment to confirm that they are meeting high standards of verified performance, accountability, and transparency on all factors, from employee benefits and charitable giving, to supply chain practices and input materials. Entyce received their certification in August last year, the first agency in Chester to do so.
