Chocolate kings Cadbury’s has now announced that their infamous milk chocolate coins will be discontinued and will not be home for Christmas.

Blaming cheaper own-brand versions for the decisions as well as the loss of their ‘purple’ branding from rival Nestle, Cadbury UK took to Twitter to inform customers that there will be many alternative Christmas chocolate treats to try.
However the people of Twitter seem to believe this is just not good enough and that Christmas may as well be cancelled, with the hashtag #ChocCoinGate being a popular site across Twitter.
Some even believe, or maybe just hope, that this is a publicity stunt to sell more Cadbury’s chocolate coins this Christmas.
Only time will tell if Santa Claus can deliver these chocolate treats this Christmas.
