As it was National Chip Week last week we felt the need to blog about Prudence Staite and her chip sculptures. Yep, you read it right, Prudence Staite creates edible art by sculpting with chocolate and food.

To celebrate the joy that is the humble chip for National Chip Week, Staite created some of our country’s most famous monuments using 10kg of chips and mushy peas. Big Ben, The Angel of the North, Stonehenge and the London Eye were just a few of the potato replicas created.
‘Iconic landmarks in Britain are so important to our cultural history and eating chips is such a British tradition that it felt natural to combine the two and create some history of our own’ said Staite
