The final judging stage for our annual Entyce Design Awards (EDA) came to an exciting conclusion this week when we met up with Claire Young, the BBC Apprentice finalist from 2008 to go through the 2013 entries.
Since reaching the final stages of the hit TV show 5 years ago, Claire has become a high-flying figure throughout the education, business and charity world.
As a dynamic businesswoman, Claire is involved with many schemes and initiatives. One of her main areas of focus is School Speakers, a business providing quality motivational speakers (including herself), for schools, colleges and universities. She covers the length and breadth of Britain delivering inspirational speeches to students, inspiring young people to work and nurture their talents.
She shows great support for bridging the gap between education and business, which coupled with her passion for helping charities, makes Claire an ideal judge for our EDA panel.
The finalists for EDA 2013 have now been selected and have been revealed on our EDA Facebook page. We have been overwhelmed by the response and high standard of entries we received this year, making the judging process even more challenging.
We are now in discussions with Claire to get the charities she supports involved with EDA 2014. EDA provides invaluable marketing material for charities whilst promoting young talent.
