A Chester-based design and marketing agency is celebrating its second birthday.
Jane Entwistle and Libby Entwisle, founders of Entyce Creative, launched the b,usiness at the start of the recession.
Since Entyce Creative was established in 2008 report after report has shown the UK economy to be in an increasingly precarious state with marketing being one of the hardest hit sectors with budgets being dramatically slashed. The recession has seen many creative agencies go out of business with the fight for contracts getting tougher by the day.
Despite this doom and gloom Entyce Creative has gone from strength to strength and the Cheshire based design and marketing agency has proven that if you are talented and have what it takes to make a difference to a company’s success there will always be a demand for your services.
What were the fearless duo, Jane Entwistle and Libby Entwisle, thinking when they decided to set up a company right at the start of a recession?
Libby Entwisle, Managing Director, explains…”Jane and I had worked together for a few years before we decided to begin Entyce Creative. We were confident that between us we could offer a fantastic service to local businesses. As we both coincidentally share the same surname, with a slight difference on the spelling, we immediately had a strong connection. We were both nick-named ‘Enty’ at school which made Entyce the perfect choice for our company name.”
Over the past 12 months, Entyce Creative has been selected for many prestigious projects. One in particular has been winning the sought after contract of marketing ‘The Cheshire Ice Cream Farm’ based in Tattenhall.Over the past 12 months, Entyce Creative has been selected for many prestigious projects. The scope of services provided covers all areas of design from graphic design, website design, marketing and public relations, making Entyce Creative the perfect choice of agency to manage a project from start to finish.
Their client list is diverse and extremely impressive, ranging from global companies including Tetra Pak based in Wrexham to local businesses such as Humphreys of Chester and Passion for Property both based on Lower Bridge Street, Chester.
Could the Enty’s ever have predicted this success when they first took the step to go it alone?
“We didn’t know what to expect at the start, but we’ve come such a long way from Libby’s dining room which we were using as an office,” says Jane, whose firm is now based in a stylish two story studio on Spital Walk in Boughton just on the outskirts of the City Centre.
Jane continues… “We started out with just one client to our name and we are so pleased to now be working with over 50 clients from all types of industries. I think our key to success has been the fact our personalities and skill sets complement each other exceptionally well; Libby is definitely the organised one who constantly makes sure our clients are kept up to date, whereas my passion is for creativity. I love coming up with new ideas and the challenge of designing projects to suit client’s requirements.”
In just two years, Entyce has developed into one of Cheshire’s leading creative agencies with a talented team of designs, project managers, web developers and copywriters.
Libby explains why they are doing so well… “There is no secret to our success, it is quite simple really we continually strive to do a great job and in return our clients recommend us which is crucial to keep our business growing.”
Due to their expertise and friendly nature, the flourishing team at Entyce continues to build long lasting and rewarding relationships with all their clients.
