The Entyce Creative Design Competition 2012 launches with The Hospice Of The Good Shepherd
Chester’s leading design agency, Entyce Creative, is once again on the look-out for the finest creative talent in the North West. The annual Entyce Creative Design Competition is now in its third year and raises the profile of the tremendous creative talent nurtured right here in the North West. The competition highlights the opportunities available to employers and students in the region.
The face of the competition for 2012 is the inspirational and hard-working charity, The Hospice Of The Good Shepherd. The Hospice exists to provide highly specialised palliative care for people living with advanced diseases from the communities of Chester, Deeside, Ellesmere Port and rural Cheshire. The competition offers an exciting opportunity to all graphic design students studying a higher education course in the North West to work on a real-life project.
Since its inception, the Entyce Creative Design Competition has gained great momentum with entries doubling in the first two years. This prestigious competition is highly regarded in the industry, with many colleges and universities incorporating it into their course curriculum.
This year students can enter five design categories, namely logo, website, promotional banner, advertising and promotional material. Students can find out more about these categories and enter the competition at www.entyce-creative.com/competition/
Libby Entwisle, Managing Director at Entyce is excited about this competition and the opportunities it presents to students, “I can’t wait to see the entries for the 2012 competition. The standard of entries keeps getting better, which is very impressive and extremely exciting for our industry. Having doubled the number of entries last year, I can only hope students take up the challenge and battle it out for the top spot!”
The winning student will be offered a work placement at Entyce’s Chester based creative studio. The entrants also have the opportunity of seeing their work published. Entyce Creative is passionate about all things creative as they support clients by producing eye-catching, dynamic print and web design, as well as managing effective marketing and PR campaigns. Jane Entwistle, Creative Director at Entyce, says “This is a fantastic opportunity for the winner to develop a thorough understanding of how a creative design studio operates. This is a competitive industry and we hope this competition inspires students to challenge themselves to produce their very best work.”
