2022 was certainly a year of challenges for the business world as a whole. With political unrest and the cost of living crisis, businesses throughout the UK have once again highlighted how resilient they are!
Looking back on the year, despite facing such adversity, there have been lots of successes for Entyce. We take a look at just some of these below…

New work placement scheme
This year, we launched our work placement scheme that sought to provide aspiring marketers the opportunity to spend time with the Entyce team, to gain valuable experience of life within a busy marketing agency.
Knowing how hard it is for young people to gain valuable industry experience, we decided to throw open our doors to support as many aspiring marketers as possible. Back in August we welcomed Dom, a year 11 student with a keen interest in graphic design. Joining us shortly after in October was university Journalism student Libby and Business Management graduate Jess.
During their time at Entyce all were thrown into various projects from social media and content to design and web development, all invaluable tools to utilise in their future career development.
Endorphin is launched
Here at Entyce we have always been big believers in the importance of internal communication throughout business, so much so that we branded our internal communications offering as its very own service.
There has been a clear growth in demand for support with internal communications as businesses begin to acknowledge the difference that great culture can make to a company’s success and reputation. Having already been supporting our clients with improving their internal communications it seemed the perfect opportunity to brand and launch this service in September.
Entyce turns 15
In October, Entyce hit a big milestone, turning 15! Welcoming clients, partners, friends and family to The Guild in Chester we were able to celebrate our achievements. Holding an event to recognise our brilliant portfolio of clients, strong service and amazing team seemed like the perfect thing to do to commemorate the occasion!
New clients
Our team has been hard at work as we welcomed multiple new clients this year. With these new clients came a multitude of new and exciting projects for our team, as we took on new website builds, branding and social media campaigns.
We have been delighted with our intake this year and look forward to 2023, where we can continue to work alongside both new and existing clients on many more exciting projects.
New team members
As the Entyce client portfolio grew so did our talented team. We have been very excited to welcome five new team members throughout the year, each injecting their own creative flare.
Starting off the year strong, Chris joined as Creative Director back in January, we welcomed Katie-May as Project Manager in March, closely followed by Emma as Senior Account Manager in May and Social Media Executive, Emily, in June. Finally, after making quite the impression during her work experience in September, Jess joined us as Marketing Executive in October. All have slotted into the team seamlessly and it’s hard to imagine the office without them.
The industry
Digital marketing trends have a tendency to change like the seasons, and 2022 has been no different.
Throughout the year it has been clear that short form videos are here to stay. Whether it be TikTok, Instagram Reels or Facebook shorts there has been a shift from video marketing being a bonus, to being an expectation.
Similarly, it only takes looking at your social feeds to see that influencer marketing has continued to rise in popularity throughout 2022. However as consumers have become more switched off from macro influencers, businesses have been seen to channel budgets towards micro influencers, as they are deemed more relatable to a now more savvy consumer base. As the industry continues to develop we look forward to what upcoming trends 2023 will bring.
As we reflect on all that has been achieved in 2022 there is a great sense of excitement to continue this success into 2023. Keep up to date with all things Entyce by following us on Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter so you don’t miss a thing!
