When one of our longstanding clients Ellis Whittam mentioned they would like a new logo design for the charitable arm of their organisation we jumped at the chance to design it for them.
Called BREWS, (which stands for Body Representing Ellis Whittam Staff) it started out as a staff forum but has changed over the years. BREWS is now used primarily to fundraise for Ellis Whittam’s chosen charities. The business selects two charities each year and runs numerous events to get staff involved. This year they have selected the NSPCC and the North West Air Ambulance as their nominated charities.
The group has raised tens of thousands for different charities over the years and is always planning and organising events in a bid to raise more funds. They thought it was time they had a professionally designed logo to help them when with all their fundraising efforts.
We’ve carried out a range of corporate, digital and marketing work for Ellis Whittam so it was great to get involved in doing something a bit different for them. We have a great deal of respect for the extensive charity work that they do so we were more than happy to give up some of our time free of charge to design the logo and support the brilliant work they are doing.

We presented the team with a choice of logos which met the brief and they recently chose their favourite design.
They’ve only had the final logo design for a short time but already it has been put to good use on materials promoting everything from a staff bbq to their Rugby World Cup sweepstake!
