The Entyce Creative team are busy clocking up walking miles this month as part of a challenge for National Walking Month.
As a team we’re aiming to reach 1,000,000 combined steps throughout May in what we’ve dubbed the Mayllion challenge.

With the better weather and lighter evenings, it’s the perfect time to get out and about and walk more. Walking has so many health benefits: it is good for your heart, helps with your mental wellbeing, gives you energy and can lower your risk of dementia and stroke. Walking outdoors also helps ensure you are getting a daily dose of fresh air and vitamin D, something many of us in the UK are missing out on due to spending too much time indoors.
In addition to the combined steps target the individual who reaches the highest number of steps for the month will win £50 to spend on something fitness related of their choice.
We’re just a few days in to the month and already some members of the team are putting others to shame. Designer Paul walked more 13,000 steps on the first day of the challenge so he’s definitely setting the pace. He walks his lovely dog Millie every day so we think he’s the favourite to win but he does have some serious competition from developer Mike who usually walks to work. There’s plenty of healthy competition on this one!
We’ll keep you updated on how the challenge is going!
