Hello Twitter Analytics
Earlier this Summer Twitter quietly launched analytics to complement their Twitter ads. To access the analytics you have to sign up for Twitter ads if you aren’t already – a credit card number is required but you aren’t charged to use the platform.
So what do you get from these analytics?
When you click on the analytics tab you are able to access various charts displaying information and data from the past 28 days. The information provided includes engagement rate, impressions, re-tweets and link clinks. As well as those reports you can see how well your individual tweets have performed. You’ll be amazed at the difference a picture can make to a tweet’s performance!
On top of all of the above you can actually export the analytics into an excel spreadsheet – these analytics include all the information under the sun about your tweets from the actual time your tweets were posted to engagement, impressions, re-tweets and more!
Rather handily, Twitter separates your organic posts from paid ones so that if you do advertise on Twitter you can see if your money is being well spent.
