With a massive influx of junk mail and unwanted newsletters filling up our inboxes, Microsoft has announced their decision to scrap Hotmail. Although the Outlook brand has been used on many desktop email applications, it will now be introduced to consumers to replace the once market leader webmail service, Hotmail.
The new Outlook service will allocate more space to emails than the current Hotmail. Not only will this give consumers more space for information they want to receive, but it has also enabled interactive links with the major social networking applications, including Twitter and Facebook.
Existing clients who use the @hotmail.com account will be able to continue using this service, however, they will be given the option for changing to the newer and more modern @outlook.com
