Recently released figures show that the marketing spend of Britain’s top businesses has increased more that any time in the past 6 years.
Quoted in today’s Business section of The Telegraph, the number of marketing departments increasing their spend over the past three months was the highest since the third quarter of 2007, before the financial crisis and recession prompted cuts.
Online spending has been the biggest factor in driving the overall increase in budgets. Digital marketing spend has seen noticeable increases as businesses are chasing their internet customers.
