It’s the age-old question, what should you focus on when it comes to digital marketing, quantity or quality? Which option will bring you the best results? What will get you the most engagement? And what will build your online presence most effectively?
Our argument is that your digital strategy should consist of both, neither should exist without the other. But it can be a fine balance to get the mix just right.

Quality
We’ve said it once, we’ve said it a thousand times, quality content is the epitome of a great strategy. Whether its an article, a social media post, a whitepaper or a video, your activity should be considered and focus on the wants, needs and values of your target audience. Distributing content just for the sake of it will ultimately reflect badly on your brand, discourage quality leads and, quite frankly, waste your time.
Quantity
Of course, a great digital strategy is all about timing and action. Quantity doesn’t mean that you have to post multiple times a day, or have a new article on your site three times a week; when identifying how much or how many things you should have within your plan, ensure that it is ultimately consistent. Producing great content for a short period of time, followed by a big gap in activity can do more harm than good.
Getting the balance right
Combining the two will require planning for your marketing team. Brainstorming great content, planning it, ensuring it follows through to completion and then distributing it on a regular and consistent basis, is crucial to successful marketing.
