Simian International’s e-learning site to be launched in July

Over the past few months the team at Entyce have been working on an exciting new project for one of our long-standing clients, Simian International.

Simian International are a training course provider and consultancy in scaffolding health and safety best practice; they have numerous scaffolding training centres in locations around the globe.

The idea for the e-learning site came from Operations Director, Ian Fyall, who had received many requests on LinkedIn and Twitter to host their extremely popular training courses in their country. As the logistics of holding training courses in all of the countries requested was near impossible, Ian decided to create an online platform that could bring their expert training to people around the globe, that wouldn’t necessarily be able to attend their face to face training.

The site itself is a comprehensive training site, providing trainees with tutorials, downloads, mock exams, final exams and a certificate of qualification. We have created the site so that it is extremely user friendly for anyone, no matter how computer literate they are; trainees can simply go on choose the course they would like to take, and run through the entire module easily.

The site will firstly go live in English, but over the coming months further languages will also be added, including: Hindi, Chinese (Mandarin), Nepalese, Urdu and Korean.

We look forward to seeing the site grow and develop into what is sure to be a huge success in the scaffolding industry, in improving the quality of health and safety across the world.
