Social Media Executive

Overview.

The Social Media Executive is responsible for the day to day running of our social media channels, for both our wide range of clients and for Entyce. Main duties will include scheduling of all our social media content, communicating effectively with our audiences and always being ready to spot and jump on a trend when you see one! Social media is fast-paced and so you can expect this role to be the same. You will need to be able to multi-task effectively and be naturally creative with a flair for writing and coming up with ideas.

This role reports to the Social Media Manager and will suit someone who has a good knowledge of social media platforms. You must be approachable and friendly to work alongside our brilliant team of account managers, designers, developers and content writers. Sound good? Responsibilities:

  • Schedule social media content using scheduling software such as Hootsuite
  • Keep on top of social media news and trends, being prepared to act quickly when needed!
  • Communicate with audiences effectively through social media
  • Understand audience nuances and effectively grow online communities
  • Assist in creating content, incl. copy, graphics, and short-form video
  • Assist with market research into trends, clients, and competitors
  • Generate social media reports and summaries for senior management and clients
  • Assist in managing our in-house podcast, Upfront with Jane
  • Reporting into the Social Media Manager and working closely with them to generate new and exciting content ideas
  • Work closely with the Account Managers and Design team to ensure content creation is created on time, on brand and suitable for social platform specifications
  • Working with the wider team to get everyone involved in social media initiatives

Required skills:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Able to multitask and manage own time and workload effectively
  • 1 year experience working in social media preferred
  • Knowledge of social tools such as Canva and Hootsuite would be beneficial
  • But above all, enthusiasm, confidence, and a love for all things social is key!
