James Arnold is one of Cheshire’s leading wedding and portrait photographers, and he looks set for a busy year ahead. He has 15 more wedding bookings compared with this time last year and James is optimistic about the future as the wedding season draws near.
James’s approach to wedding photography fuses contemporary, reportage and documentary styles, with the aim of capturing the emotion as well as the moment. This unique style has led him to becoming the photographer of choice at many of the leading wedding venues in Cheshire. Yet it was a chance meeting with a bride-to-be that helped his business to truly prosper.
Libby Entwisle, director of Chester-based design agency Entyce Creative, approached James to photograph her special day in May 2009. A casual discussion about each other’s profession led to a new brand identity for James and a stylish website that would showcase his work at its very best.
Following the launch of www.jamesarnoldphotography.co.uk, James saw a considerable growth in new business. He is looking forward to the year ahead and is continuing to be supported by Entyce Creative. “I am so pleased to have met such a creative team. They truly understand what it is I try to achieve through photography and they present my campaigns in an eye-catching, innovative way.”
This phenomenal growth has led to exciting times for James and, along with his enviable reputation for quality, is helping to fill his diary with lots of Cheshire weddings! “I am delighted with this recent success! My new website really does show couples what to expect for their special day, and this is leading to lots of new enquiries. My aim is to capture the very essence of the day and to give newlyweds an enduring collection of wonderful memories. I feel privileged to be part of the weddings of brides and grooms throughout 2012 and beyond.”
