This month we have welcomed Samantha into the Entyce team on work experience to further her Design skills having finished university. Although it is only Sam’s second week with us, she is making a great start and has been working well with the team.
We look forward to helping Sam expand her digital marketing experience.
Find out more about Sam below:
What attracted you to digital marketing/design?
I was always a creative person during school, so when it came to leaving to go University I knew I wanted to do something creative but I wasn’t sure what. This lead me to study an Art Foundation course at West Cheshire College in Ellesmere Port where I was able to gain experience in all areas of design. I soon realised that Graphic Design was the one for me as I loved the idea of being able to have my work seen in the world whether that be on the label of a tin or on a large billboard.
What course did you study at University and what grade have you achieved?
After finishing my Art Foundation course, I went on to study Graphic Design at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham. I achieved a 2:1 which I am very happy about!
What are your hobbies?
I have been a member of the Army Cadet Force since the age of 12 and I now help out as an adult volunteer whenever I can. I have also just started agility training with my 1-year-old Jack Russell, Fidget.
How have you found working with the team at Entyce?
I am really enjoying myself! Everyone is really nice and have been very accommodating, I love coming in to help!
What are you hoping to achieve from your work experience?
I hope to learn more about working in a professional environment and also hope to gain some more designing tips! You can learn a lot from work experience so I hope to leave here having improved my design skills as well as having had a lovely time!
